Tommaso & the Bicycle
My first experience in real mountain-biking was when I was 13, and since then I love it!
I spent my teenage years racing, I was lucky to join the Italian National Team to race the World Cup in 1998 and '99. In 1999 I won the Winter Italian Championship and the International Series race in Caraglio (CN) Italy, always racing in cross-country speciality heading from time to time in road cycling.
In 2003 I decided to leave the races to finish my studies, but I never gave up riding the bicycle and I have got a registered mountain-bike instructor certificate (SIMB)
My performance is not the same as when I was a pro, but I enjoy a lot to ride everywhere in any conditions, from roads around my family house to thermal mud in New Zealand!
I am pretty sure bicycle will be the human transport of the future, since it is cheap, easy to ride and really funny!!
Riding a bicycle is a healthy way to enjoy life and, of course, holidays as well! Everyday more and more people find peace in riding a bike without an engine, and doing it as a different way of enjoying vacations can be a great experiences.
Does not matter if you are a professional rider looking for a perfect hill to climb or if you are going to ride a bicycle for the first time in your life. You will enjoy the feeling of the wind on your face in any way...
And remember that I am always ready and more than happy to share some pedalling experience with EVERYBODY!!!
